Enjoyed a great ride but I found the last 15 miles tough going. Incredible views along the Atlantic Coast after Bude feed station which is where the hard stuff started. Coped with all the climbs including Millook at 30%, but after 80 miles I really struggled with the Bishops Wood hill.
Weather was superb throughout the day with very little wind. Rolled across the finish line at an estimated 6:41. May have to reconsider my gearing next time as my 39x27 wasn't an outstanding choice for this event! Dartmoor Classic next up by which time I should have hopefully sourced another pair of legs.
